Responsibility on this role was to maintain official liaison with regulatory authority through official communication and comply necessary requirements of the authority.Also to execute coordination role between top management and expatriate engineers engaged in plant operation through designing production schedule in line with management expectation.Bank relationship management was an additional requirement as corporate level procurement used to be handled by same functional role .

Abul Khair Steel Products Ltd. Is the producer of first Cold Rolled Coil (CR Coil) in Bangladesh started manufacturing in September 1999 and continued it's robust growth till 2015. At the time of inception the installed capacity was only about 70,000 Metric Tons per year and gradually it has now reached to the capacity about 500,000 Metric Tons per year by installing the latest technology in cold rolling of flat steel products supplied by worlds leader in the field SMS SIEMAG GERMANY and TIEMAC USA. Now AKSPL is owning the largest Flat Steel Manufacturing Complex comprising of 4 numbers of 20Hi Cold Rolling Mills, A Double Stand 6Hi Cold Roling Mill, 5 Continuous Galvanizing Lines out of them 4 are NOF, One GALVALUME Line and One Coil Coating Line producing Cold Rolled Steel Coil, Galvanized Steel Coil and Corrugated Iron Sheet, Prepainted Steel Coil and Sheet, GALVALUME Coil & Sheet, Galvanized Hot Rolled Steel Coil and Sheet etc. of thickness starts from 0.10mm and up to 2.5mm while width is ranging from 750mm to 1250mm.The complex also having it's own power back up with a captive gas based Power Generation Plant of a capacity about 24 MW supplied by GE Genbecher, Austria .Handled all import and export business operation including Contracts and Letter of Credit Management for Project and Running Factories.Demand forecast, Material Planning, Production Scheduling also done as per management expectation.Developing alternative supply source and maintaining supplier relationship was included in the core job.Implementing regulatory changes and complying regulation remained as additional responsibility of the role.

I used to be the In-Charge for International Procurement and Letter of Credit Management during the tenor of this role.
