NDE receives and processes data from the NPOESS spacecraft. I worked on the NDE Data Handling System design. I was responsible for design/development tools evaluation. I produced use case diagrams and activity diagrams as well as portions of the software design document for the high level preliminary design review. Identified subsystems and high level services in those subsystems. I presented preliminary design to NOAA stakeholders.

Held various roles including:• Software maintenance on the Planning and Data Processing System that scheduled and executed the science data processing algorithms. Oversaw software maintenance issues relating to Langley DAAC operations. Worked on GUI/interface software used to input directives or run procedures used for ground system configuration, analysis, and commanding the spacecraft. • Task Lead for GOES I through M Telemetry and Command System (GIMTACS) maintenance effort working at NOAA in Suitland, Md. Provided technical leadership, scheduled tasks, and executed software changes for the GIMTACS maintenance effort.
