What do you get when you combine an overachiever, a passionate learner and someone with high ethics, expectations, and standards? You get me, Ann Auerbach. I’ve spent my career helping companies meet tight deadlines, address challenging business problems, and adjust to ever information security and data privacy regulations. I’ve brought my extensive background in IT audit, project management, training, information security and data privacy to implement technology, manage projects and transform processes for a defense contractor, an information provider, oil & gas exploration, telecom and technology manufacturing. In my current role as Avanade’s Certification and Compliance Lead, I’m responsible for translating global and country-specific data privacy regulations into actionable business and organization requirements, identifying solution options always focused on minimizing disruption to the business and operationalizing processes. While some may see challenges, I see opportunities. I thrive on building something new, making order out of chaos, implementing, and updating processes and learning for each situation.Outside of work, you can find me enjoying my flower garden, keeping my two dogs from digging up my gardens, and enjoying great food and time with friends and family. This summer has been unique and lots of DIY home projects have been completed.
