Being different is something I have grown accustomed to, and maybe the greatest difference is that I am not afraid to be different! I am present, committed, and bold.I am authentic – everything I teach has been learned from my own life experienceI will maintain confidentiality and integrity on all levelsI will give you validation for your emotions by being a good listenerI will be the hand you can grasp if you decide to reach for itI will respect your journey and you as an individualWhether you are looking for help with your horse, or your life, they are really both intertwined. Owner/OperatorDalkeith Riding School May 1986 - Dec 1991I ran a 75 acre farm with 35 school horses, all of which were Thoroughbreds off the track that I retrained to be riding horses. Some of them I sold to private owners, hotels for trail horses and farms for herding cattle. I taught lessons to kids and adults, took them to competition and some of my kids qualified to ride in the Samsung competitions in other Caribbean Islands as well as South America. They did very well. I also taught Special Olympics Equestrian for 6 years, and sent my athletes to compete in the Games in Minneapolis/St. Paul in 1990. I also short listed for the Pan Am games in 1990 in dressage on a Secretariat son. I did all the admin for the business as well, and the marketing etc., I ran summer camps for kids, took out tourist trail rides, and was a safety consultant for the Jamaica Tourist Board for the trail riding standards of the Sandals chain and Hedonism hotels in Negril.
