I have worked in the Life Insurance industry for 16 years. In my time I have processed applications, been the quality analyst who identified areas in the department that need improvement, took over as the training specialist who trained new hires, seasoned associates and kept our standard operating procedures up to date. I moved to the IT department in 2017 as a Business Analyst - honing my skills as a liaison between the software development team and our business partners, organizational skills to assist in keeping a project on track, requirements gathering to ensure the correct end product is delivered, and people skills to be a part of a team and communicate company wide any system changes that are being deployed. I have been promoted from BAI to BAII and then to Sr. Business Analyst within 5 years of holding these responsibilities. While on my journey I have also earned my Bachelors of Science in IT Management (July 2022) from Western Governors University.
