As product owner for our portable benefits platform, I led strategy development for design and launch of new programs, oversaw sales and business operations, and led marketing/user experience for insurance offerings.

I oversaw plan design, member services, health insurance operations, regulatory compliance, and launch of new programs for a boutique health insurance company serving freelancers in NYC.

In this role,I held primary responsibility for ensuring the successful launch of new sustainable member programs, including the licensure and launch of Freelancers Insurance Company.

Responsible for researching health insurance operations and development of the initial work plan for establishing Freelancers Insurance Company. I also developed grant applications and served as the primary liaison with philanthropic and social-purpose funders.

My role within Standards Development at COA was to coordinate and gather relevant research for establishing standards of practice for nonprofit management, child and family welfare services, behavioral healthcare treatment, credit counseling, and employee assistance programs. In this role, I managed large panels of volunteer experts from nationally-recognized social service and management organizations, reviewed and edited draft standards, and cross-walked standards of practice with local regulatory and licensing requirements.
