Currently working on Restart a scheme commissioned by DWP, Reed is the Prime Provider for Restart, and we are a partner of Reed, our provision in the North East covers Darlington, Stockton and Sunderland however we are also delivering in other areas of the Country. This scheme will support the economic recovery following Covid/Brexit and Twill see 156,000 participants to start employment , Each participant will have Dedicated Employment Advisers, who will provide individually tailored support and access to skills to each participant.

My husband and I have developed the Tea Room since 2011, I worked in there during the week-ends until 2016 when I went to work in their full time. We steadily grew the business with a small team of ladies/girls and build up an excellent reputation in the Area, as members of Love Stanley & Beamish a non for profit business membership group of independent DH9 traders who came together to campaign to showcase Beamish, Stanley and its surrounding Area. We were lucky enough to gain funding for a Video to showcase the Team Room, this went live in 2012 and within a couple of months had reached over 9 countries and 30,000 views. With the pandemic hitting the world early in 2020 we closed from March -August we reopened as a takeaway until October when we took the decision to close.
