Protecting Mary Kay's dream of empowering women, I lead grassroots initiatives in the U.S., educating employees about the election process and implementing our Get Out The Vote (GOTV) program across MKI headquarters and five State Branch locations. Researching and tracking legislative activity at the State and Federal level, as it pertains to direct selling and independent contractor status, along with personal care product issues and working with Public Affairs staff to lobby on the Company's behalf. Additionally, serving as point of contact for MKI public affairs academic engagement at the college and university level. Assist with development of academic outreach thru regular contact with professors and university representatives, ensuring continued relationship with our third-party endorsers.

As GR Coordinator, I research State and Federal legislative issues, pertinent to the direct selling industry and specific to Mary Kay Inc. (Mary Kay Inc.’s global wholesale sales are $3 billion and more than 3.5 million women worldwide are Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants). Working with the support of the Government Relations team, I lead the grassroots (advocacy awareness) initiatives for MK (Get Out To Vote, candidate/issues awareness). Additionally, I support academic outreach efforts; researching new opportunities for building relationships with colleges, universities and professors.
