These efforts became the foundation for Clements’ company Brainstorm Technology LLC.2001 - present CEO & Founding Partner BRAINSTORM Technology, LLC, NYC. www.brainstormllc.com. Clements obtained a $2 million start-up grant from the Federal Dept. of Commerce and a Stage 3 grant from the National Science Foundation for pre-revenue research. Brainstorm went on to develop PhotoSketch®, a Google SketchUp® plugin that enabled the user to build 3D urban structures directly from photographs. Architects, designers, and entertainment content creators could employ a new approach to creating lightweight 3D models of existing buildings. These models, which typically consist of a few hundred photo-textured polygons, were well-suited for use in online gaming and web-based applications such as Google Earth®️.
