The company was founded with 1 truck, 24 years ago by Jo Van Moer and his wife Anne Verstraeten and now has a turnover of 80 million and 540 employees. Van Moer has been growing for several years with double-digit.Function:* Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and growth plans.• Train the finance unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.• Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO in identifying new funding opportunities and the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets.• Attend Board meetings• Monitor banking activities of the organization and maintain bank relations.• Monitor cash balance & cash forecasts and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.• Develop financial and tax strategies• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes• Manage the accounting, controlling, legal, tax, and treasury.• Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations• Implement financial best practices • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems• Supervise acquisition due diligence and support pricing negotiations • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
