Ann Wilson Cramer, retired from IBM as Director for Corporate Citizenship for the Americas, and has been a Senior Consultant with Coxe Curry. Ann is a graduate of Salem College with a degree in mathematics & received Salem College’s Alumnae Leadership Award. Ann and her husband, Jeff, live in Inman Park, are active members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church & have two adult children. Ann’s commitment to & involvement with children, youth, education & the arts has been a lifelong journey. She continues her work with the improvement of conditions for families & children, equity, social justice & breaking the cycle of generational poverty.In 2023, Ann received the Mayor of Atlanta’s Phoenix Award, the Young NonProfit Professional Network (YNPN) created an award:Ann Cramer Civic Leadership Award. Ann has been named to Georgia Trend’s Georgia Hall of Fame & listed among Georgia Trend’s 30 Years of Influence. The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s first Corporate Social Responsibility Lifetime Achievement Award, is named in her honor.Ann serves & has served on many nonprofit boards, including the Alliance Theatre Company,Atlanta Technical College Foundation, Atlanta Way 2.0, CareerRise, CHRIS 180, Crossroads, Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, Hope Atlanta, Learn4Life, Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE), Woodruff Arts Center, WABE, the Georgia Foundation for Public Education & Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta.The Women’s College Coalition honored Ann & Marian Wright Edelman with the 1st WCC Women Creating Change Award, & Ann was one of 5 Georgia women to receive the first STEM Gems recognition. Ann was recognized with Ann Curry & Ann Stallard as the YWCA Women of Achievement, & with the 1st Lifetime Achievement Award by the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Women Who Mean Business, received an Honorary Doctorate in Public Service at Clayton State University & was honored with the inaugural ARC Harry West Visionary Leadership Award, the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Leadership Award & Voices for Georgia’s Children Big Voice. She has received the Dan Sweat Award from Central Atlanta Progress, Public Broadcasting Atlanta’s Sullivan Award, & was honored with The United Way of Greater Atlanta Women’s Leadership Award. She has participated in Leadership Atlanta, Leadership Georgia, Regional Leadership Institute, is a member of Outstanding Atlanta, & is past president of the Junior League of Atlanta. She received the Woodruff Arts Center “Arts in Education” honor & the Communities In Schools Georgia “Lifetime Friend to Education” award.
