As Founder and Principal Lawyer at GRIT Legal Ann is passionate about maximising the compensation that people injured during the course of their work or in transport accidents receive from the VWA and TAC. Ann prides herself in having a caring and common sense approach to her client's claims and making the process as easy as possible so clients can focus on their rehabilitation and recovery.In a career spanning 20 years Ann has successfully conducted litigation in the Magistrates Court, VCAT, County and Supreme Courts of Victoria as well as settling hundreds of claims for injury victims.Based in Camperdown, Ann regularly attends Warrnambool and Colac to see clients. She represents injured people from Horsham, Stawell, Ararat, Ballarat, Geelong, and everywhere in between.Ann enjoys contributing to the community in which she lives. She has served on numerous kinder, sporting and community committees in roles varying from general committee to President and Chairperson . Through her previous role as Director and Vice Chair of the Cobden and Camperdown Community Bank (Bendigo Bank), Ann had the opportunity to connect with many community organisations throughout the Corangamite Shire.She is currently on the Corangamite Hockey Club Incorporated committee and with her husband she shares the role of Junior Co-ordinator, Camperdown Cycling Club. Her achievements to date in the community include contributing to the completion of the following projects:-~ The redevelopment of Camperdown Apex Park~ Organising community arts projects in Moyne and Corangamite ShiresOutside of her work and community commitments she is busy raising her 3 children. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, going to the beach, bike riding, gardening, reading, writing and attending horse racing events.
