I have 22 years experience in admin, with the last 14 as Office Manager in a games company.Over the last 22 years I have worked with all levels of staff up to and including Directors. This required calendar bookings/diary management, meeting room set up, accommodation booking, travel coordination (both domestic and international) as well as assisting HR department with the relocation of new members of staff (both travel and booking of temporary accommodation).A large part of my duties as Office Manager saw me updating and creating processes and procedures to streamline smooth running of the office, linking in with all support teams across the company.I was also in charge of organising team building events and annual events such as summer BBQ and Christmas parties.As Office Manager I maintained supplier relationships and onboarding of new suppliers - entering their invoices to the purchase order system, receiving, then passing to accounts for payment.I understand the need for a high level of confidentiality at all times, NDA process for visitors, as well as being approachable to all staff and visitors, making them feel comfortable.Maintaining accurate records for tracking and auditing purposes.In addition to the above I was responsible for office refreshments and lunches each day, as well as general office duties such as: replenishing stationery and first aid supplies, maintaining a stock of company merchandise, petty cash, filing, opening mail, answering telephone, point of contact for all admin queries in studioExtra duties that I volunteered to be trained for include: first aider and fire warden.
