Actively managing compliance and the remediation of contaminated (UST) and (AST) facilities for clients in different stages of remediation and monitoring under ADEM LUST fund regulations. Key accomplishments and duties include:• Serve clients by preparing Phase I / II ESA, groundwater monitoring, preliminary and secondary investigations, off-site investigations, off gas emission/air quality, operation and maintenance, emergency response, initial abatement, risk based corrective action plans and reports.• Overseeing remedial activities at impacted sites and knowledge of best available remediation and control technologies.• Working knowledge and implementation of EPA regulations as well as ADEM regulations and strong working relationship with ADEM project managers.• Managing contractors and vendors on the behalf of the client as well as contract negotiation.• Facilitate the submittal of semi-annual DMR (Discharge Monitoring Reports) as well as ADEM non-compliance forms when necessary.• Conduct field activities including monitoring well installations, soil sampling, soil classifications, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring. • Project management experience including budgeting, cost proposals, payment requests, day-to-day contact with clients, and ADEM representatives. • knowledge SPCC, NPDES, and UIC permitting procedures.
