As an HR Generalist for The Hillman Group I manage the execution, compliance, and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure consistency. Responsible for managing the disciplinary processes in accordance with company policy, and I reduce litigation exposure by ensuring fair and equitable application of policies and procedures. I investigate employee issues, conduct exit interviews, and actively engage employees to provide feedback that will improve Hillman's engagement and retention strategies. I'm also responsible for seeking, attracting, and building a pipeline of top quality talent through the utilization of branding tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Facebook, and Twitter. Accomplishments in the Generalist role include the successful implementation, training, and launching of new technology including HRIS, Applicant Tracking, that improved the time management and organizational effectiveness of HR processes.

Provide effective recruiting strategies for exempt and field positions. Partner with management to identify staffing needs to determine the most effective means to fill open positions. Responsible for coordinating and leading recruiting processes and activities, from position control administration through onboarding. Works closely with all members of the HR team on various projects and initiatives.

Provides human resources services for Staffmark’s customers, including but not limited to, makingdecisions relating to the hiring, placement, discipline, and termination of temporary employees placed with Staffmark’s customers. Assesses and evaluates customer needs, determines and defines detailed job requirements. Evaluates, assesses, selects, orients, and educates job candidates for Staffmark’s customers in order to ensure the best placement of an employee for Staffmark’s customers as well as for the best placement for the employee. Serves as liaison between customers and employees to create and implement processes to meet the human resources needs of the customer and Staffmark’s temporary employees. Evaluates worksite performance of employees and makes decisions regarding appropriate measures to resolve disciplinary issues. Develops and fosters professional partnerships with customers to ensure their human resources needs are met.
