I am an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with 44 years experience in neonatal intensive care as a clinician, educator and manager. Skilled in beginning clinical research, communication, family education, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation, and patient safety. my formal education includes a BSN focused in Nursing Practice from The Ohio State University, Masters degrees in Nursing from Case Western Reserve, and Post Secondary Education from Cleveland State University and most recently a graduate TESOL Certificate from the University of Kansas. My special interests and passion concern families dealing with disease of addiction and neonatal abstinence syndrome. I also have a strong interest in neonatal oxidative stress and the role of antioxidants, especially bilirubin.
