With my work at Hollowells I was in contact with many families that found themselves in the tragic situation of arranging a funeral for their child, and was fully aware of the financial and emotional pressures this brings. And locally in Northampton providing a support network of families in similar situations.As a Charity Trustee I had many responsibilities:• Making decisions daily on the issuance of grants across the UK.• Working with the local Council to improve the children’s cemetery environment.• Maintaining Charity records, to satisfy Charity Commission and HMRC.• Organising of events. I played a major role for 30 years helping to grow our family business.
