Directed the engagement of local and competitive local exchange companies (LEC/CLEC) and on/off net domestic/international long distance carriers on behalf of customer repair activities. Conducted operational/performance reviews with long distance carriers.Implemented the Professional Services NOC, a full service managed services network operations center for fiber-based, customer owned networks. Directed management exempt/non exempt repair center staff in Littleton, CO, Lacrosse, WI, and Monroe, LA.

Responsible for Qwest National Network Voice PBX, data router/switch, and business VOIP customer premise equipment field installation, repair, and maintenance. Supported Pre and Post Sales/Sales Engineering and Service Management organizations. Interfaced with Business Market Group (BMG) Enterprise, mid market, and state and local government customers and equipment suppliers/partners. Directed a staff of management and occupational employees located in seven of 14 regional states.

14 state regional responsibilities for central office switch, transport, power, synchronization, common systems, and cabling core network infrastructure installation. Directed the design and implementation of the 2000 and 2001 comprehensive plans ($350M), which included the placement of central office SONET transmission and common systems equipment required to support transport capabilities for Qwest core network and customer premise locations.Directed a staff of senior and lead design engineers and managers located in Littleton, CO.

Responsible for the Qwest 14 state Local Network analog to digital Class 5 Voice switch replacement/upgrade program ($400M). Directed the program that managed cross-discipline planning and engineering for Voice, Transport, Space, Power, and Common Systems in the successful conversion and upgrade of all Qwest Local Network 14 state regional analog to digital switches within 18 months.Directed a staff of senior and lead project managers located in Littleton, CO.
