Ann Gallagher is Professor of Ethics and Care in the International Care Ethics Observatory, University of Surrey (see https://www.surrey.ac.uk/international-care-ethics-observatory). She is recognised as a thought leader in the field of ethics and care.Ann has extensive experience as a care ethicist, educator, researcher, nurse & editor. She is Editor of the international journal Nursing Ethics (see http://nej.sagepub.com/) with 2019 Impact Factor is 2.597. The journal is now ranked 6/55 in Ethics, 5/121 in Nursing (SSCI) and 5/123 in Nursing (SCIE) which puts the journal in the first quartile in all categories. Ann's Fulbright Scholarship was at the National Bioethics Center for Research and Healthcare at the University of Tuskegee, Alabama.
