Ann Garvey, professional dance performer, teacher, choreographer and adjudicator, began her professional dancing and teaching career over thirty years ago.While teaching for a national dance studio, Ann became fully accredited to teach, passing each level of dance curriculum. Ann is a first place professional competitor, competing regionally and nationally as well as Owner/President of Celebrity Dance Studio. Celebrity Dance Studio, over the years, has been awarded numerous top accolades, specifically Top Studio at Crystal Ball and Wisconsin State Dance Competition (2015). As well, she has been consistently voted one of the top instructors. Ann’s unique teaching style and creative choreography has earned many of her competitive students first place finishes. Her desire to share the thrill of dance is exhibited in her community outreach. Such as, educating school aged children in ballroom at many Chicago area public and private schools; performing at dance exhibitions and numerous charity events, and working with the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce.Dance is not just a career for Ann; she believes dancing is one of the greatest social tools you can use in life by increasing self-confidence while at the same time having fun.
