Ann leads the validation and verification accreditation programs at ANSI National Accreditation Board. She is responsible for the oversight and assessment of validation and verification bodies active in a range of climate mitigation programs. She is also co-convener of the International Accreditation Forum validation and verification working group and is involved in global efforts to collaborate and add rigor, transparency, and comparability to reported environmental claims.

Responsible for development, launch, and management of environmental accreditation programs that oversee third-party assurance providers.

The CDM Accreditation Panel (CDM-AP) prepares the decision making of the CDM EB in accordance with the procedure for accrediting operational entities. CDM-AP information available to the public and/or request for input by the public, in accordance with the procedure, is reflected in the section Certifiers of the web site. Competence requirements for AP experts:Familiarity with CDM modalities and procedures and relevant decisions of the CMP;Recognized experience and/or knowledge relevant to the CDM project activity cycle;Demonstrated relevant working experience of at least two years in a national, regional or international accreditation body or in third party certification activities;Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, in English;Excellent drafting skills, strong operational and analytical skills, and ability to work as a member of a team;Advanced university degree in economics, environmental studies, natural sciences, engineering, or any related disciplines.
