Responsible for the Church of Sweden Refugee Programme in Eastern Africa, covering projects in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda, and funded by Sida and CoS. Ensure compliance with donor requirements and regulations such as audit and procurements requirements, and overseeing information management and ensuring documentation related to grants and programme implementation. Management of the operation, in collaboration with a Project Coordinator based in Kenya. Monitoring of projects in the field. Liaison with partners and institutional donors. Facilitating workshops within the Refguee Programme with focus of developing capacities of partners, especially regarding cross-cutting issues like accountability, gender and protection.

Supporting refugee camps in Dadaab & Kakuma, Nairoib, and Ali Addeh & Hol Hol, Djibouti.Coordinating, monitoring, reporting on overall implementation of projects with LWF/DWS Kenya-Djibouti Programme. Responsible for assessing and following project applications in regards to Child Rights project in camp settings, Chad, Djibouti and Kenya, part of application to Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Responsible for Somali Refugee Programme at CoS with partner LWF/DWS Kenya-Djibouti, including financial oversight reporting. Responsible for finance on the Humanitarian Team in regards to humanitarian projects (appeals) for Southern, Eastern, Central, Horn and Western Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, including administrative and financial transactions. Field visits to project sites for monitoring purposes. Liaison with partners, seconded staff, institutional donors. Quality assurance of applications to institutional donors. Internal financial reporting and institutional donors reports. Documentation and administration of projects in accordance to CoS tools and regulations.

Liaison between CoS and the Swedish Government - Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) for Development and Humanitarian Projects. Responsible for quality assurance of applications, donor compliance and reports to Sida. (calculated as 25% of gross income, and 40% of funding for projects at the International Department of CoS). Quality assurance of the agreements between CoS and Sida. Drawing up templates for applications and reports according to institutional donor's requirements and guidelines. Financial manager for Sida funds to CoS' International Department. Training for new staff in donor reporting specifications and deadlines. Reviewing project proposals and reports for quality, compliance and consistency.

Liaison between Church of Sweden (CoS), the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Lutheran World Federation (LWF), Geneva. Coordinate WCC and LWF projects within the International Department of CoSQuality assurance of the agreements between CoS and WCC/LWF. Working knowledge of WCC and LWFs financial reporting processes and quality standards.
