Dr. Ann K. Laber Anders serves as the Supervisor of Instructional Technology and Library Media Programs advocating for educational advancement in Washington County Public Schools, MD. As a district and state leader, she successfully orchestrated many transformative initiatives including: the expansive deployment of Chromebooks, creation of a comprehensive Library Media Curriculum including a Computer Science continuum, and development of a Digital Well Being Curriculum using ISTE Standards. Dr. Laber Anders collaborates with IT and curricular teams managing EdTech projects, and developed district guidelines for the application of AI in the instructional program. In addition, she has led the development of a new professional development model infusing ISTE Standards with the addition of district EdTech Coaches and school-based EdTech Leaders. Dr. Laber Anders is an adjunct professor that has presented nationally and is driven by a passion for educational excellence. She believes that every learner deserves equitable access to a cutting-edge education.
