Creating the ready for print version of our social value magazine, setting the layout, adding to the copy, choosing relevant images to enhance the narrative & ensuring the outcome is agreed with the team before release.Filming, editing and adding motion graphics to promotional videos. These short videos are for use in social media and corporate promotions.Planning, creating content and updating our social media sites with relevant posts.Adding information to our intranet site and notifying staff.Designing large-scale graphics for trade stands.

Looking after payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, marketing literature, social media, financial report writing in excel, GDPR compliance, candidate onboarding and generally assisting my director and the consultants so that they can complete their roles to a high standard.

Working closely with the Exec team to provide financial reports. I also work with the Fundraising team, online Shop, remote branches, HR and IT to ensure management accounts are produced in a timely manner. These duties are performed parallel to the support that I provide countrywide for our CRM system. Systems and programmes used are SUN, Q&A, CARE CRM, Excel and Word (using a variety of formulas including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables). Purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliation for the online shop.

During my employment with DB Schenker I moved around departments. I began in the Cashiers department processing and paying personal expenses and reconciling company credit card accounts. I also covered the reconciliation of the Bank statement, processing journals, bank payments and covering for the company cashier in her absence. I then moved departments to become an accounts administrator which meant looking after Dunning accounts in accounts receivable and all accounts payable. Duties included the opening of new credit accounts for prospective clients, liaising with branches to allow shipments to continue movement or not depending on the status of the account. I also had to chase debts and collect funds. The systems that were used for these processes are Excel, Word, Procars, Basware, Tango, Credit card payments. Then moved into accounts payable where I looked after designated "Ocean" accounts. Reconciling and paying accounts with a monthly payment value over 100K plus per ledger.I was also involved in training others and presenting to new employees.

Being self reliant while keeping to government rulings, I looked after children ranging in ages from 6months to 10 years old. Days were planned to support each child's educational and care needs, sometimes specified by the parent. I took it upon my self to become a Network Childminder which meant that I would have additional regular checks and also receive a range of continued professional development training. I had to keep my own financial records and the children's records met with data protection laws. During my time as a child minder I gained my NVQ3 in Childcare end Education and a GCSE equivalent in Special Needs.

I completed my time as the head cashier for BAX global. Reconciling bank entries to the bank statement. Liaising with Barclays to order foreign cash, when needed and arranging banking to be made through the bank. A number or records needed to be kept for audit purposes and there was an automated upload of the bank statement to be carried out regularly.

During my time in this position I was involved in the implementation of our BACS payment system and also became a Super User for the changeover from our accounts and operations systems to CODA for accounts and CIEL for operations. I also looked after the exception reports for our many UK branches. These occurred when there was a tolerance exception in billing and needed to be addressed with the branches. I also looked after all of the transport account payments, processing invoices and reconciling accounts to statements for regular payments. Another area that I looked after was our internal USA accounts. This means liaising with my counterpart in America by phone to keep a very large ledger in check.Systems used were CIEL, CODA, Excel and word.
