The youth initiatives is geared towards lending a voice for people with mental disorders through youth advocacy and reaching out to all young people in Kenya especially in the institutions of learning_both formal and non-formal and international linkages with lead youth programs of the world such as Youth Move in the USA and World Youth Parliament.

International and national partner organizations, advocacy in implementing community mental health and development new initiatives. The Community mental health and development model has five interlinked modules- Mental health, sustainable livelihood, capacity building, research and policy and management and administration.My roles basically touches;• Build capacities of partners to organize and coordinate community animation processes as a strategy for mobilisation and community action.• Work and liaise with partners to develop activities and effective strategies to implement a wide range of community mental health and development options.• Guide the partners towards formation and development of user groups.• Work with partners to develop ways and methods of linking the target beneficiaries to government, non government, private sector, community and Faith led organizations to support service provision at division, district and where appropriate national level to improve livelihood and development options.• Coordinate and ensure coherence of all community level activities with different programme partners and collaborators.• Work with partners in development of groups achieve psycho-social and economic gains and reintegration into the wider community.• Train partners on development of quality process reports of community and other forums to strengthen research and evidence gathering.• Participate in proposal development processes.• Co-ordinate livelihood development module and enhance learning to encourage innovation and creativity.• With partners, develop advocacy and lobbying plans at all levels.• In collaboration with manager, to identify community organisations for collaboration.• To Represent BNKE, in different stakeholders development forums.• Make work plans and reports.• Flexibility in related responsibilities.
