I led a team of sub-editors to produce a weekly magazine of up to 96 pages in length writing headlines, designing pages and editing copy. I twice attended the Association of British Travel Agents' (ABTA) convention in the capacity of production editor where I worked with local people in offices in Jerusalem and Acapulco. Edited the Pinner edition of the Harrow Observer and sub-edited and laid out property pages. Covered various events and news stories, wrote features, interviewed local celebrities including Barry Cryer and Bob Holness. Took part in a charity parachute jump and covered the story for the Harrow Observer.

Covered local councils and news stories and visited the police station, fire station and coastguard offices to find articles. Worked on the Camborne/Redruth Packet where I reported on the magistrates courts and covered the news at local colleges.
