As interim registered manager I am responsible for the operation of a large home care service providing short term interventions with elderly physically and mentally frail service users.I provide supervision and professional support to the staff within my team and throughout the social care services within HaveringI provide a strategic home care lead within a project which is planning to TUPE the current service to an external provider, liaising with staff and unions.I am resposnible for the health and safety of all my team members.I have budgetary control of the service and work within the Local guidelines, delivering on the planned savings year by year.

Providing professional lead and project management to set up a residential reablement service to promote timely and safe discharges and prevention of hospital admissions.Managing a team of multi disciplinary staff, providing supervision and support.Providing on site and formal training to in-house home care staff to change their role to reablement carers. To liaise with health services to set up a pilot to fast track hospital discharges. To evaluate this service and provide informations on savings achieved to both health and social care to facilitate the expansion of the service.To be responsible for the health and safety of service users and staff on site.To provide advice on equipment and adaptations and to liaise with statutary and voluntary bodies.
