AM Grants Consulting provides comprehensive, well organized grant writing services for nonprofit organizations, drafting competitive proposals for a variety of donors, including foundations, government agencies and international organizations.

• Responsible for overseeing the continuation of funds, as well as development of new projects, for $12 million agency that provides wraparound services to victims of domestic violence, homeless youth, human trafficking victims, veterans and other vulnerable groups in Los Angeles County;• Develop, implement, and review annual fundraising plan to meet agency fiscal goals, including privatesolicitations, response to public sector RFPs and other public sector funding opportunities, major gifts,endowment, and other strategies as appropriate;• Stay informed of policy initiatives related to homelessness and domestic violence locally and nationally;Prepare and supervise preparation of private and public grant proposals;• Communicate with foundations, corporations, and the public as needed;• Prepare and supervise preparation of reports and other documents, e.g., brochures, press releases, newsletters and similar materials;• Provide support and leadership regarding special events;• Collaborate closely with Outreach staff regarding community educational outreach activities and volunteer recruitment;• Supervise Development Department staff.

Worked remotely to develop project proposals and contribute to reports pertaining to the situation of minority rights in Kosovo.

• Coordinated and oversaw the project "Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Growth for All Newly-established Municipalities in Kosovo", funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The project aimed to provide the Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo with sustainable solutions on improving their local socio-economic perspectives by empowering local governments as well as local communities. The project encouraged active participation and engagement of all local communities and vulnerable and marginalized groups in the decision making process, in social life, and in local economic development;• Managed the project Strengthening the Watchdog Role of Minority Civil Society Organizations in Kosovo, funded by USAID, which provided training and guidance for minority civil society organizations to effectively monitor local government;• Primary responsibilities included developing, implementing and managing activities promoting socio-economic growth in all 10 Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo, such as capacity building trainings for municipal officials and civil society organizations and assistance in developing municipal strategies on socio-economic development;• Oversaw a team of 3 members directly, and 8 additional local field correspondents;• Assisted in developing the Standard Operating Procedures for the organization;• Conducted research for ECMI Kosovo publications and provided provided policy analysis of minority issues within and outside of Kosovo.

• Completed a project on the necessity of disaggregated data in order to promote the rights of Roma in Europe. Contributed to the report by focusing on case studies on the United States and Sweden as examples of good practice. Report published October 2013. • Concluded drafting and editing a report on adequate housing in Europe and the disparities between international standards and national policies in relation to the Roma community.

• Developed, taught and evaluated 6 classes of 18 university students in basic and intermediate English.

• Observed and documented the construction of an indigenous landsite by the Mapuche community. • Organized and wrote a reflection paper on the construction of the landsite and the importance of indigenous culture in Chile.• Assisted with office administrative duties.
