Co-Director Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (Mhttc)
The MHTTC Network includes a Network Coordinating Office (NCO), ten (10) MHTTC Regional Centers, a Tribal Affairs Center, and a Hispanic and Latino Center. Our collaborative network will support resource development and dissemination, training and technical assistance, and workforce development to the mental health field. The MHTTC Network will work with organizations and treatment practitioners involved in the delivery of mental health services to strengthen their capacity to deliver effective evidence-based practices to individuals, including the full continuum of services spanning mental illness prevention, treatment, and recovery support. The Northeast & Caribbean MHTTC serves New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, providing training, technical assistance, and resource dissemination to support and enhance the mental health workforce.
Program Director For Phd In Psychiatric Rehabilitation
We offer two tracks within the PhD in Psychiatric Rehabilitation: Traditional Psychiatric Rehabilitation Track and Counselor Education and Supervision Track. Traditional Psychiatric Rehabilitation TrackStudents within this track are prepared to become scholars, researchers, educators, supervisors, and leaders in the fields of Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Areas of study include psychiatric rehabilitation practice, organization and systems change, program evaluation and outcome assessment, health and wellness, and other emerging topics. Students will develop a high level of skill in teaching, research and scholarship, and advocacy related to the psychiatric rehabilitation discipline.Counselor Education and Supervision TrackThis doctoral degree track is designed to prepare graduates for professional roles as counselor educators, clinical supervisors, researchers, and leaders and advocates within the counseling field. This track specializes in counseling approaches and techniques for individuals with psychiatric conditions. Students will also develop a high level of skill in teaching, clinical supervision, research, leadership, and advocacy related to the professional counseling discipline.
