I am retired. Originally, I worked five years as secretary to two CPS Program Directors and was involved in the administrative issues of child welfare. After completing my college education, I was hired to perform investigations into reports of child abuse/neglect. At the time of my retirement, I completed all tasks involved in the issues of child abuse/neglect (investigations, working with families and children, providing and monitoring services to them, training and working with foster parents, foster children, writing reports and working with the court system, working with law enforcement, completing administrative reports, attending continuing education classes, etc.).
