Operation consultants can be an important part of a business's internal operations. These consultants provide advisory and implementation services to improve client relations and management systems.

For patient accounts, undertake the complete accounts cycle, including:• The preparation and delivery of statements, as required. • Allocation of payments received• Following up of unpaid claims• Handling claims, collation of appropriate back up documents, receiving back approved claims and processing credit notes, updating the patient accounts with credits and/or denied notes.• Completing filing and patient inquires• Following up with staff for unpaid claims and/or patient for problem resolution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Train staff on computer systems, OHSA standards, HIPPA regulations, etc.• Serve as a resource to existing managers to improve performance of clinics.• Hire staff, train, and supervise the work of hourly staff• See that patient scheduling is done properly; ensure that follow up care is maintained.• Uncover and correct problem areas in the practice before they become serious.• Stock and order supplies, and control the expense of inventory.• Schedule staff so the practice runs smoothly while limiting overtime and nonessential shifts.
