As the Staffing Manager I the driving force behind seamless operations by maintaining optimal staffing levels, ensuring deadlines are met, productivity goals are achieved, and high levels of employee engagement are cultivated. Responsible for overseeing a workforce of 200+ staff who operate 7 days/nights a week. • Consults with HR Director, Managers, Store Directors and Division Directors to determine open positions• Evaluate, screen and develop recruitment resources to develop specific recruiting plans• Develops and maintains a professional relationship with colleges (university and community) placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants• Works with employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment related fees• Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants• Provides information about the Company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants• Screens, tests and interviews all qualified applicants• Makes job offers and helps applicants fill out the paperwork needed in order to work for the Company • Conducts reference and back ground checks if needed• Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover• Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics• Maintains records on recruiting activities as required• Develops and maintains the Company newsletter, application tracking system, website and social media sites• Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures
