Leading the evolution of the Central Support Functions for EDF Energy Generation, to meet the future strategic landscape of the business

Responsible for programme managing the implementation of the nuclear skills alliance, the first structured collaboration between Generation and HPC, forming a blue print for future joint working.

Responsible for developing and implementing the strategy to embed Organisational Learning as both a process and behaviour across the 8 operational nuclear power stations (circa 5500 people). Organisational learning is the the process of creating, retaining, and transferring knowledge within an organisation, which is one of the cornerstones of ensuring the safe and reliable operation of a nuclear power station. As the fleet manager, I led a small team of experts, working collaboratively across the leadership teams of all 8 nuclear power stations to provide the governance, oversight and support for:- Event investigations (including root cause investigations, near miss analysis and trending)- Gathering, sharing and embedding operating experience from within the nuclear sector and beyond, to ensure we learnt from the mistakes of others and identified best practice for implementation- Promoting the use of self assessments to critically look at what was being done internally and pro-actively identify opportunities to improve

Responsible for a team of eight environmental professionals and experts, providing specialist knowledge on all aspects of environmental legislation to the fleet of 8 operational nuclear power stations.
