Ann is an educator, leader and musician.She retired from Rockway Mennonite Collegiate after serving as Music Department Head and Principal from 1991- 2021. As a music teacher, she was committed to instilling the love of music in her students as they learned and performed the music of the masters, the music of the church, and the music of today. As Principal, she was committed to advancing Rockway’s mission, vision and values through the building of healthy relationships, respect, collaboration, clear communication, inclusion, kindness, care and compassion. Ann’s tenure at Rockway was celebrated at Rockway on November 28, 2021, honoring her 30 years of service.In 2024 Ann will continue to serve as the Intentional Interim Executive Team Leader for Mennonite Church Eastern Canada, a position she assumed in January 2023. She looks forward to continuing her work with the MCEC team as together they navigate change, develop leaders, collaborate with partners, embrace diversity and seek peace and justice.In May 2022, Conrad Grebel University College presented her with the Distinguished Alumni Service Award.
