RESPONSIBILITIES• Oversee the Accounting, IT and Traffic Departments• Assisted in the preparation of the annual budgeting package, including the calculation of accruals, departmental expenses, sales, manufacturing work center rates, and material burden factors.• Accountable for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements; including the reconciliation of multiple balance sheet and income statement accounts.• Prepared quarterly federal and state payroll tax returns and sales tax returns for multiple states.• Reconciled bank statements, and was responsible for timely follow up of all variances and unclaimed checks.• Maintained fixed asset records, including additions, disposals and annual reconciliation of depreciation expense.• Responsible for the preparation, transmission, and auditing of the weekly payroll processing.
