Invigorated, inspired, innovative. At this stage in their careers, many people of my generation are coasting toward retirement, envisioning slow-paced, relaxing days ahead. Not this woman. After years of late nights and long weekends of studying, on May 16, 2014 I reached my life-long goal of earning my bachelor’s degree, the culmination of studies in finance, accounting, communications, leadership, and management theory. My education and work experiences have provided me with opportunities to collaborate on projects, master new software skills, build a network of resources, and achieve success in problem solving, giving me the confidence to take on new challenges. Red Bull may have gotten me through those three-hour long college classes, but now my energy will be coming from my determination and creative drive to find solutions to complex problems and the satisfaction of being a member of a successful organizational team.
