Managing a cross-organization sustainability teams at Newsec, that involve two Newsec companies. In charge of developing a sustainability strategy and -program and placed the strategy in practice for our 600-headed organization. GRI-based sustainability reporting and CSRD-competence development. Developing group (Newsec AB) sustainability strategy and -reporting (GRI and CSRD).Responsible for the administration of Newsec Property Asset Management Finland's quality- and environmental management systems. Managed the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification projects, certifications in August 2022. Coordination of the process descriptions, audits, risk management, deviation reporting, and management reviews and their respective organizations.

During my years on the Sustainability team, the team had grown from one person to a nearly 10-headed team of experts. I have been developing the Newsec sustainability service offerings for our investor clients. In my latest years in this role, I mainly focused on strategic sustainability management for our real estate clients, i.e. identifying their material sustainability aspects and setting up a sustainability program. This work was followed by ESG reporting and implementing a variety of sustainability initiatives to support their targets.

Main responsibilities:• Managing and developing the environmental performance of ISS Palvelut Oy. The development work was implemented according to the ISO 14001 –environmental standard, and the work included co-operation with ISS’s health, safety and quality –organizations. • Management of the different service sectors’ environmental programs• Developing the ISS services according to LEED EB –environmental standard, and active participation in a client’s certification process• Developing and implementing the company environmental trainings• Participating in the development of ISS’s global environmental management system• Management of Tekes -funded research project, “Climate change prevention in FM services”(http://www.tekes.fi/ohjelmat/Yhdyskunta/Projektit?id=9880310), active participation in research work (publications)

Development and operative management of ISS’s Environmental Services in co-operation with ISS’s partner companies. Work consisted of development of clients’ waste management, support in sales and implementing environmental trainings. In my work I gained a comprehensive insight in the waste management operations in Finland.

Project Manager in a Tekes-funded project related to eco-efficient production. Implementing Life-Cycle Assessments (LCA), and participation and preparation in other EU- and Tekes- funded projects.

UNESCO, Science sector, Division of Water Sciences: I analyzed a global news- and article-database about water issues and how the privatization of water companies has been reported.
