I have been involved in water resource studies for various hydroelectric and mining projects. I have progressed within this company from a junior engineer with a heavily field based role to a project manager and technical resource. I have been involved in a variety of large and small assignments throughout BC and developed the skills outlined in the list below:• Collection and analysis hydrology and climatology data, • Conduct regional analyses of hydrometeorological data,• Complete hydrologic watershed modeling using HEC-HMS and HydroCAD,• Perform hydrodynamic modeling of channel and overland flow in 1D, and 2D including dam breach and inundation analysis of water retaining and mining dams. Familiar with HEC-RAS, GeoHECRAS, FLO-2D, and River2D platforms,• Complete instream flow and environmental flow assessments,• Conduct flow ramping studies, • Design hydraulic structures, • Collect and analyze turbidity and suspended sediment data, • Complete geomorphic analysis of river and creek systems, including baseline and post-flood analysis, and• Project management, coordination and technical writing.

EENG: 7217 Hydrology and Hydrometric: Part 2 - Introduction to Hydrometric Techniques The second portion of the class introduces students to hydrometric monitoring techniques including precipitation, snowpack and streamflow measurement, accessing published data and the application of these techniques.
