I worked in a team engaged in the semi-automatic aggregation of job vacancies for the company. Within this team, I had the opportunity to explore two directions:Defining and testing tasks for the development team to enhance the product.Managing remote workers.Over time, I focused more on the latter direction, and my direct responsibilities included:Preparation and Adaptation of Training Materials for EmployeesRecruitment and Training of New Employees: This involved creating and posting job vacancies, conducting interviews, providing training, and overseeing the adaptation period.Team Management: This encompassed all organizational aspects, such as salary disbursement, leaves, and terminations, as well as monitoring the quality of each employee's work. I also handled conflict resolution among team members.Overall, during my leadership, there were up to 70 remote employees simultaneously, many of whom remained in their positions for over three years since their hiring. I consider the following achievements notable during my tenure:Development of a Comprehensive Rating System: I designed and supervised the execution of a rating system for employees. Each employee could access their personal dashboard to compare their key performance indicators with those of the best-performing colleagues in real-time. Indicators exceeding the norm were highlighted, enabling individuals to correct their performance and receive bonuses.Successful Management of Two Rounds of Downsizing: This included conducting exit interviews. Those affected by downsizing often willingly re-engaged with the company later or in different roles.Gamification of the Work Process: Recognizing that most of the team consisted of students, I proposed gamifying the rating system. In addition to bonuses for excellent work, employees could earn achievements visible to the entire team. Implementation of this system significantly improved work quality within the next month.
