About Anna Ambrus, M.Ed.

I am a human sexuality professional, researcher, and educator aiming to empower folks to recognize their strengths, agency, and authenticity as sources for self-discovery, and social change.I believe that sexuality education can be a preventative and transformative process for children, teens, parents, and families. Empowering them with the skills and knowledge to not only advocate for their own bodies, pleasure, and identities, but to deconstruct how we have been told to conceptualize sexuality, gender, and identity by way of challenging systems of oppression. My interests include family life education, K-12 sexuality education, porn literacy, pleasure advocacy, sexual agency, parent-child communication on sexuality topics, and empowering LGBTQIA+ youth, all through holistic, sex-positive, social reconstructive frameworks that center around the topics of pleasure, consent, communication, autonomy, and social justice.I hold a Masters of Education in Human Sexuality Studies with a Sex Education track from Widener University and a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta.
