With over 12 years of experience in Human Resources, my career began humbly at UPS, where I started as a package handler and utility driver. The lessons I learned there laid a strong foundation for my journey in HR, where I've worked across various roles, always striving to support others and create positive work environments. My HR journey has been enriched by experiences in teaching, fitness, and most importantly, motherhood. For eight years, I was blessed with the role of stay-at-home mom—a position I consider the most rewarding and impactful of my life. In addition to my HR career, I have been a certified fitness instructor, teaching Step and Floor Aerobics, Spinning, Les Mills BodyPump, and BodyFlow classes. I was also a certified EMT. Each of these roles has shaped who I am, giving me a deep understanding of the importance of physical and mental well-being.The turning point in my life came in 2020 when I lost my father to ALS. His passing initiated a profound spiritual awakening within me, one that I am honored and excited to have experienced. This journey revealed patterns in my life that I had been unconsciously repeating, and it gave me the courage to face them. After a failed suicide attempt, I recognized the need for space and time to heal. I sold my home, moved to Tennessee, and embarked on a journey of self-discovery. The heat and humidity led me to a cooler climate and closer proximity to my children. During this period, everyone in my life, including my family, cut off all contact with me. What I once feared most—total isolation—became a source of peace. The silence allowed me to gain clarity and truly understand myself for the first time.During my father's illness, I discovered a spark of creativity within me. Creating art became a healing force, and now I seek to ignite that same spark in others. I believe that every aspect of life holds endless potential for creativity, whether it's in the workplace or in our personal lives.Now, I am determined to help others through the sharing of my experiences. I am finally opening up, embracing my truth in an authentic and compassionate way. My journey has taught me the deep connection between personal and professional experiences, and I am committed to using these insights to foster understanding, reduce stigma around mental health, and encourage others to live truthfully.I’m passionate about rebuilding trust and fostering accountability in our workplaces. My story is one of resilience, transformation, and hope—a story I am eager to share in the hopes of inspiring others.
