• Support 1,200+ events at the Global Technology Center. • Coordinate event needs with GM employees regarding event space, communication requests, audio/visual needs, catering, and set up. • Appropriately manage event space, inventory, and reservations for the Global Tech Center Campus. • Schedule work load for General Helpers, Dock Members, Housekeeping, and Electricians through daily scriptures and weekly communications. • Work with GM legal and outside vendors to obtain license agreements. • Support the GM mission through security and safety protocols. • Manage and schedule the arrival and shipping departures for show vehicles. • Work with Broadcasting teams on high level or confidential events. • Committee planning of 5,000+ attendee events such as Kid’s Day, Sustainable Workplace Day, and the GM 5K Run. • COVID Risk Management. Manage the Return to Work process and protocol through the coordination of traffic, materials, CDC and Corporate guidelines, volunteers, contract employees, and the analysis of data for continuous improvement.

• Sell and manage all Social Catering accounts including, but not limited to, weddings, general social celebrations, foundations, fundraisers, church, and corporate events. • Collaboration with clients through the detailing and account management of 100+ events in a given year. Assist the client in menu planning, audio/visual, room set up, timeline, group room blocks, decor, billing, and budget management.• Create, execute, and negotiate event contracts. • Manage all social catering marketing efforts on Instagram, Videolicious, the Knot, WeddingWire, and experiential events, while creating and implementing promotions to promote brand and property awareness.• Conduct site tours, prospecting calls, and create proposals for prospective business on a daily basis.• Provide recommendations and considerations to better the client needs though excellent communication and organizational skills. • Conduct Pre-Event Rituals and group or private tastings. • Onsite for the execution and managing of events to oversee on site staffing. • Oversee and manage the Sales & Catering Coordinator.• Ensure client needs are met and exceeded while achieving goals and maximizing hotel revenue.

• Manage all aspects of corporate accounts through the selling, planning, booking, and follow up with clients and events of 50 or less guests.• Create, execute, and negotiate catering contracts as well as assist in menu planning, room set-up, and billing. • Sell and coordinate group room blocks with 10-20 guest rooms per night. • Handle sports teams at the Collegiate or tournament level including their stay, transportation, and food and beverage needs. • Conduct site tours for prospective business and pre-convention meetings for booked business. • Prospect new and repetitive clientele. • Assist in the communication, planning, organization, and execution of meetings and events for groups of 50 guests or less within the Executive Meeting Center and the Westin Hotel event space. • Adequately provide quotes for room rental, food and beverage costs, and guest room rates. • Develop proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, room blocks, and event checks through the use of ISAC. • Actively communicate and collaborate with all property departments to complete the event life cycle. • Run and execute day-to-day functions within the EMC for current guests.
