As a participant in the Integrated Business Cluster, I worked with two teams of six members (each for half of a semester) to create an executive report on the lodging industry and several of the largest players in that industry. In the second half of the semester, my team worked on designing a lodging business, using location, demand, and cost analysis.

As the leader of the Senate Budget Committee, I collaborate with the Vice-Chairperson of this committee to review applications for internal Senate funding allocations. This entails reviewing price documentation, description of need, and creating budget resolutions to be voted upon by the entire Student Senate body.

As a member of OU's Student Senate Appropriations Commission, I work with student organizations and university officials to properly allocate funds and manage the $500,000 a year managed by Senate. I meet with organizations to help them properly apply for funding as well as help them meet the financial needs of their group. I also present at mandatory training sessions for all student organizations.

I serve as an advocate for all LGBTQAA students at Ohio University. It is a great honor to hold a position with such a significant level of responsibility. I work with other members of the LGBTQAA Affairs Commission to utilize our platform to better the Ohio University community. We plan events throughout the academic year with a focus on issues and topics faced by the LGBTQAA community. My favorite event to plan and be a part of is OU's Pride Week, which is usually held in late March or early April.
