I am a compassionate and driven person whose passion in life is baking. I enjoy helping others. This comes from a loving family background and selfless parents who took in kids in need, doing foster care for 18 years of my life. Through this I learned compassion, patience and acceptance.I knew baking was something I was interested in and enjoyed doing since childhood; when helping my mother with things in the kitchen. She was always gotten very excited about cooking and baking and trying new recipes, which is inspiring to me. Ideally I would love to own a place where I can work alongside my mother and make both our dreams come true.I want to share my love and passion for life though my baking career and creations. I love creating beautiful and flavorful baked good that put smiles on people’s faces as they eat them.My big ‘ah-ha’ life moment hit me while on a new adventure in Guam, USA. I lived here for just under a year and a half, where I lived with my brother and his family. They had asked me to come help out with my nieces while he deployed, being big on family of course I agreed. Guam got me out of the shadows of my home town, friends and family. Although with a small portion of family, I still had to learn to cope with things on my own, which helped me become the person I am today and brought me to the realization of my love for baking. When I was homesick, lonely or feeling down all I had to do was whip up some desserts in the kitchen and all was right in my world again. Baking is part of me and what makes me tick. It calms me when I am down, it lifts me up, and it makes me happy. I want to share this joy with others, while they enjoy my baked creations made with my artistic expression and skills.
