North Dorset Green Party has recently started back up after a few years hiatus. We are experiencing a daily influx of members largely due to the increased publicity that the National party have gotten recently with regard to the raft of social justice policies that we have had for a long time but have not been able to get out to the public until now.As I welcome new members they are telling me that they are leaving Labour and the Lib Dems, they are worried about UKIP and that they have decided it is time to stop tactical voting and vote with their conscience. There are also people joining who have never been political party members before but they just can't sit by and watch the austerity agenda creating working poverty and the main parties pandering to UKIP on immigration.North Dorset Green Party are just starting to get together a manifesto for the local district elections as well as selecting a candidate for the General Election. We want to give every person in North Dorset the chance to vote with their convictions.
