I’m committed to adding value, being a lifelong learner and I have a strong desire to make a difference in the world and to grow professionally.Since 2020 I have been the financial accountant for Rangatira, an investment company with a range of private investments in its portfolio - providing "patient capital" to New Zealand companies. This has been an education in itself, as my most significant deliverable is to produce group financial statements (within the Annual Report) which comply with IFRS.I am a chartered accountant with over 20 years post qualification commercial, public practice and public sector experience. I relate well with a wide range of stake holders, third parties and service providers and I am focused on delivery of high quality, insightful information to my customers. I am collaborative and cheerful and get things done!I am thoroughly experienced in the budgeting, forecasting and reporting cycle. I have prepared budgets, rolling forecasts, variance reports and cashflow forecasts in all my commercial roles.I analyse data and use it to inform high level decision making - My advice and recommendations have been highly regarded by former employers, as was my ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences from the shop floor to board level.
