•             Worked alongside ZeroAvia’s Aerodynamicist in a low speed wind tunnel to investigate airflow over a Cessna Grand Caravan in preparation for retrofitting the aircraft to accommodate the equipment required for Hydrogen Electric propulsion.•             Independently conducted a series of experiments to investigate the effect of different disturbance heights and trip strip designs on the wing’s stall angle at different Reynolds numbers.

• Research Project: Surface Flow Visualisation for Excrescence Wake on Retrofit Hydrogen-Electric Aircraft (part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme)• Investigation and development of flow visualisation techniques using surface contact liquids, including the optimisation of fluid composition.• Validation of the optimised technique in wind tunnel testing using a NACA0012 wing and a backwards-facing step.

• Presented small lectures on glowworms and their ecosystems• Guided visitors of all ages and abilities through the cave system• Adhered to strict safety and emergency protocols

• Gained insight into the design, construction, development and testing processes of new aircraft and their associated systems.• Investigated the errors in the pitot-static system of an AW159 Wildcat Helicopter caused by the change in airflow induced by downstream weapons and mounting structure modifications. Created a spreadsheet to calculate the required airspeed and altimeter corrections for different weapon configurations, derived from the raw flight test data.
