“This is me”I am a very ambitious, loyal, organized, professional and happy person, who is passionate about sport, and believes that knowledge, respect, and communication are important keys to accomplish goals together. In 2019 I earned a Master Diploma in Leadership and Management from Northumbria University, and I also earned a certification as a TASS advisor/mentor for athletes.I am a former basketball player and during my 17 years within the profession I always showed great work ethic and determination, as well as developed significant leadership skills being both the team captain and co-captain on club teams and the Swedish National Team. Being in a sport elite environment I have learned to be adaptable to different situations and communicate and work with different kind of people and personalities. Throughout my international career I have played in several countries, and consequently speak 4 languages fluently. I have led many basketball teams to success and titles, while motivating and inspiring my teammates by dedication and hard work both on and off the basketball court.“Goals and objectives”After retiring as a professional basketball player my aspiration is to combine my basketball experience and academic expertise to seek challenging opportunities for an organizational success and personal growth, while making contribution to women’s empowerment in basketball to encourage to positive change and achieve better opportunities.Another ambition is to help elite athletes develop a good mental health through well-being as well as encourage the impact of the athlete development and career choices by providing knowledge, guidance and support of different situations and challenges, to maximize their potential, develop skills, improve their performance, and become the person they want to be.I find that basketball, and sport in general, is a great tool to initiate positive change in the world.
