Niche therapy area requiring a high level of technical knowledge.Key activities included development & implementation of business and Ops plans, stakeholder management; forecasting & supply chain liaison Member of Global Brand Team: involvement in Life Cycle Management, Global and EU Ad Boards, Positioning & Segmentation Workshops, development of Core Claims Documents for use throughout the EU. Specificity of the area allowed for additional opportunities ie: KAM responsibility, training of Sales & Head Office Staff and writing of technical/educational slides sets & clinical paper synopsis

Role involved interpretation and evaluation of ongoing NHS Changes and DOH policy to assess and communicate their implications for Wyeth on both an operational and strategic level.The role required, required close liaison with all levels of Sales, Marketing and Medical Personnel; specifically the Healthcare Development Team and designated Brand Teams.

In addition to the ongoing management of the department an area of expertise was Medical: Marketing Interface.Ensuring Wyeth remained compliant with PMCPA guidelines whilst maximising commercial advantage. A key strength being the ability to work with Brand Teams to maximise the commercial aspect of materials whilst staying within the boundaries of the Code. Instigating “Code Workshops” for ongoing training of Medical, Marketing and external Agency personnel ensured knowledge was disseminated. I was also a nominated Commercial Signatory.
