Responsible for:- managing all emergency services, health, home support, and social service program development and delivery promoting an inter-disciplinary approach in four communities in the Tlicho region-managing the planning of regional healthprograms and initiatives -developing a humanresources plan that will motivate staff to contribute effectively and efficiently-conducting regular budget planning sessions and ensuring that programs managers work within budget guidelines -manage the delivery of existing regional health,homesupport, social service and emergency service programs withinthe existing budget in accordance with Territorial Acts, BoardPolicies, and Professional Associations-coordinating the development of policy related to emergency services,nursing,homesupport,and social services -participate in activities and decision making of the Tlicho Board Management Committee regarding health,homesupport,social service and emergency operational requirements -represent the Tlicho Community Services Agency on health,social service and emergency service matters in local,regional,and territorial discussions-Serve in an acting capacity in the absence of the ChiefExecutive Officer

Responsible for: -setting direction to administer and facilitate day to day provision clinics, diagnostic and patient care services -oversee the development,design and implementation ofnew programs/services in the client,diagnostic and patient service areas -implementation of standards and processes for measuring success,quality service delivery,and outcomes-developing goals and objectives in collaboration with staff consistent with the strategies, goals and service needs of the community and Hay River Community Health Authority -initiate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government and other related external agencies and community-collaborate with managers to resolve complex humanresource issues-work as a member of the senior management team and share in the overall corporate management of the hospital
